Posing as the cyber security staff of a bank, a woman obtained the identification number and withdrew cash from the salaried account of a software professional, leaving the victim with just Rs 740 to use.

Posing as the cyber security staff of a bank, a woman obtained the identification number and withdrew cash from the salaried account of a software professional, leaving the victim with just Rs 740 to use.
Sandeep Bose, working as designer for MindTree, a city based Information Technology company, has filed a complaint with the Frazer Town police. Sandeep said that he got a call from a woman identifying as staff of cyber securities of ICICI Bank.
"She informed me that I would be getting an SMS from the bank with a unique identification number (UIN) and that I need to share it with her," Sandeep told MiD DAY.
