2 women and a man commit suicide in area under Sahakarnagar police station within 12 hours
Three suicides were reported under a single police station Sahakarnagar between Saturday evening and Sunday morning. All three hanged themselves to death, but two did not leave any suicide notes.
The body of Prabhakar Pandurang Gawli (56) of Bibewadi was found at Taljai Hills on Sunday morning. The police says Gawli, an alcoholic, committed suicide by hanging himself near Taljai Hills.
Estranged wife
Gawli's personal diary, which was found near his body has a message. In his last entry, he wished his wife Asha well.
They had been estranged for 15 years ago. He is survived by Asha and his three children. Police Sub Inspector D K Pangre is investigating the case.
Vandana Thorve (31) committed suicide at her residence in Sambhaji Nagar on Saturday evening.
She left a suicide note, which said that she was taking the ultimate step because she could not bear her illness anymore. Police Sub Inspector M S Kale is investigating the case.
Archana Ugale (28) committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at her mother's residence in Dattawdi on Saturday evening.
Police officials said Ugale did not leave any suicide note behind.
