Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa expressed 'surprise' over Governor H R Bhardwaj's statement that he was in possession of a list of "corrupt people" including ministers, while a miffed BJP said it would soon launch a campaign against Bhardwaj seeking his removal.
Yeddyurappa said the Governor should have discussed such matters with him before disclosing any information. "I am really surprised about his acts. I will meet him tomorrow and discuss with him if he has any problems," he said.
Meanwhile, an agitated BJP said it would launch a campaign seeking his removal and dared him to act against a list of "the corrupt" that he had claimed to be possessing.
