New Delhi: Congress workers in Delhi and Lucknow today celebrated the 44th birthday of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi even though he is not in the country.

Rahul''s absence, however, did not deter the spirit of Congress supporters as they celebrated their party''s Vice President''s birthday with a huge cake. A Congress worker said that the Uttar Pradesh Congress committee was celebrating his birthday.
