Gang held for plotting murder
The Basaveshwara Nagar police have arrested a gang of eight who were hatching a conspiracy to kill a local financier to take over his business.

According to the police, Renuka, 22, against whom there are several pending cases, was assigned to eliminate financier Satish of Dhobi Ghat by his mentor and rowdy Dhobighat Ramu.

Renuka and his seven associates were arrested while they were waiting for Satish near a dhaba on Ring road. Based on the information, the police rounded up the accused and seized a Sumo car and lethal weapons from them.

Renuka, who was in the jail for an attempt to murder case, was approached by Ramu to eliminate Satish to take over his finance business.
