If you're in a mood to listen to some quirky tunes, then lend an ear to Old Jungle Saying, a city band which will give you a taste of original, experimental rock tonight

Are you ready to unwind after a hard day with thumping rhythm, innovative lyrics and experimental music? Well, if you are, then don't miss the Old Jungle Saying, a band performing live this evening. Blending psychedelic groovy funk with taut beats, they are ready to rock you. The band features Sandeep Madhavan on bass, Hemanth Diwakaran on guitar, Aditya Menon on vocals and Gijsbert Ackermans on drums.



How did the band come about?

It was the fall of 2005, and Melroy D'Mello and I (Sandeep Madhavan) were scouting for drummers to indulge our petulance, which happened to be a few self-indulgent songs up our belt. On the way, we met Aditya Menon serenading a beer at Legends of Rock on an open mic night, and we bought him over along with the drummer who recommended him to us.
