The Deccan Gymkhana police station officials yesterday arrested a 4th year law student for molesting a 3rd year student.
The accused was identified as Manu Bhimsinghji Rao (23) and hails from Ahmednagar.u00a0Officials said Rao had gone to visit the girl at her hostel on Law College Road on Wednesday.

He called her on her mobile and asked her to come downstairs. But the girl said that her mother had come to meet her and she would not be able to so.u00a0
“The boy threatened her that if she did not come down, he would come upstairs, and the girl went down to meet him,” PI Manohar Joshi said.
Joshi said after the girl came down, Rao allegedly molested and abused the girl and her mother before he fled the spot. The girl confronted Rao in the college yesterday and following a heated argument lodged a police complaint against him. The polcie said Rao would be produced in the court today.u00a0
