Parts of eastern and western suburbs will face 20 per cent water cut on Monday, while eastern suburbs will reel under 100 per cent water cut on Tuesday.

The hydraulic department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) plans to complete fixing of a new capacitor bank at the Bhandup pumping station. As a result Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Kurla, Mulund and Bhandup will receive no water at all.
