"According to our weather forecast, it will be a pleasant day and the temperatures will remain average. Also, a brief spell of rain is expected by the evening," an official of the Safdarjung Met office said.

The city received 4.2 mm rainfall until late Monday, bringing down the minimum temperature early Tuesday to a normal 23.6 degrees Celsius.
