Through the lens
From the 45 photographs which are displayed at this exhibition, Dinesh Khanna has showcased six frames from his project called Telling Stories - London, Paris and New York. The theme of his clicks is mainly metro and subways, which have changed the lives of commuters in recent years. He says, "Delhi is getting used to metro and we should know how it will slowly impact our lives. My photographs show how things have been advertised and people from all kinds of backgrounds travel together." Talking about the challenges to shoot in the Capital, he says, "People in India are very camera friendly while it's a huge challenge to shoot in other countries. So we've to click without letting them know because if they realise that we're shooting, they ask us to delete their pics."
Karan Khanna, on the other hand, focuses on street photography. He has used a fusion of old and new techniques while shooting. Karan avers, "I have developed my own way to showcase the life. I keep experimenting with the images and I don't care about the output."
