New Delhi: A series of postage stamps on the rich biodiversity of the country will be released soon to educate the people about the different species of flora and fauna, Communications and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said on Thursday.
The minister was speaking after releasing a commemorative postage stamp to mark the centenary year of Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) in New Delhi. "These are old organizations of the country which have laid the foundation stone of modern India. This stamp was released to remember the contribution of hundreds of scientists working in this field," he said.
