Jaishankar to visit Russia, will hold talks with Lavrov in Moscow on Aug 21

In a post on social media platform X, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote, “On August 21, FM Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with FM of India Dr S Jaishankar in Moscow. The Ministers will discuss key issues on our bilateral agenda, as well as key aspects of cooperation within international frameworks"

India’s External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar will visit Moscow on August 21 for a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Wednesday, reported the IANS.
In a post on social media platform X, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote, “On August 21, FM Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with FM of India Dr S Jaishankar in Moscow. The Ministers will discuss key issues on our bilateral agenda, as well as key aspects of cooperation within international frameworks.”
The meeting comes shortly after National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval’s recent visit to Moscow, where he met with President Vladimir Putin, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, and Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu.
