In the aftermath of the devastating crash of a London-bound Air India Flight 171 shortly after take-off from Ahmedabad Airport, a passenger who had flown on the same aircraft just hours before the tragic mishap, has made alarming claims about the aircraft’s condition.

The passenger, Akash Vatsa, who uses the handle @akku92, had travelled from Delhi to Ahmedabad on the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. He said he noticed several unusual malfunctions prior to take-off, raising serious safety concerns.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Vatsa posted videos claiming that the air-conditioning system on the plane was not functioning, the TV screens were faulty, the lighting buttons were unresponsive, and even the cabin crew call button did not work.
