A known person in the trade, Mamu, helped in selling the cars. Pravesh and Dharambir obtained factory-made English pistols. During interrogation, Pravesh and Dharambir disclosed that possessing these pistols used to boost their confidence level in committing more crime. While committing robbery, Rakesh would stop a vehicle on the pretext of asking for lift and the other three gang members would then rob the driver at gun point and escape in the car.
