The Bar Council of India (BCI) on Monday suspended the practice of Advocate Rakesh Kishore, the 71-year-old lawyer who allegedly attempted to hurl a shoe at Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai during court proceedings on Monday, news agency PTI reported. The council has also initiated disciplinary proceedings against him.
