As he has no relatives living in Mumbai, Samad's family is finding it difficult to get him out.
While granting him bail, the court had ordered Samad to pay a surety of Rs 25,000.

The procedure mandates that apart from paying a surety, the accused would also have to get a person's standing guarantee. This person would in turn be liable if the accused fails to adhere to the bail terms.

Samad's uncle Mohammed Yakub Siddibaba and Inayath, a close family friend have been camping in Mumbai.

"We had no one who would come forward to stand guarantee. The problem came up because the guarantor needs to be a Mumbai resident," said Inayath.
Family sources added that after much ado, they managed to find a person, but there had been some delay with regard to the verification of his documents.

"The police are checking records and don't want any trouble, since the case is high profile," a family member said.
Samad's lawyer Mubin Solkar has told the family that the verification is expected to take another day, following which Samad would be released.
Moreover, they will also need to find another person since one person can give surety for only Rs 15,000.
It may be recalled that the Maharashtra ATS had claimed a breakthrough in this year's Pune German Bakery blast, which claimed 17 lives, with the arrest of Samad.

But they were left red faced with a court granting bail to Samad on June 15, stating that no evidence was found against him.
