Bhim Sena chief announces Rs 1 cr reward for severing Nupur Sharma's tongue

The Special Cell of the Delhi Police registered an FIR against Nawab Satpal Tanwar and a manhunt was launched to trace him

The Delhi Police arrested Bhim Sena chief Nawab Satpal Tanwar for announcing a reward of Rs 1 crore for any person who severs suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma's tongue.

"One social media entity i.e Nawab Satpal Tanwar, who claimed to be the chief of Bhim Sena, having multiple Twitter handles and Facebook profiles, posted a video in which he announced a bounty of Rs 1 crore for a derogatory act against Ms. Nupur Sharma and was trying to fuel communal disharmony," said Delhi Police spokesperson Suman Nalwa.
