New Delhi: Hours after the BJP lost miserably in the Bihar Assembly polls, union minister Prakash Javadekar tried to save face by saying that the “BJP lost only because of alliance arithmetic.” BJP vice president Prabhat Jha added, “We failed to understand people’s mind. We will have to change our election strategy.” Party’s senior leader in Bihar Azfar Shamshi said the verdict was not a referendum on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
