Mangal Munda, the great-grandson of tribal icon Bhagwan Birsa Munda, passed away on Thursday night at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi. He was 45.

Tribal icon Birsa Munda's great-grandson Mangal Munda, who was undergoing treatment at the hospital after being injured in a road accident, died of "cardiovascular failure" on Friday, an official of the health facility told PTI.
