The man who helped nab MLA Y Sampangi has challenged the Speaker KG Bopaiah's decision to spare the tainted legislator in a graft case

Y Sampangi red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5 lakh, has filed a writ petition in the High Court, objecting to Speaker KG Bopaiah's clean chit to him.
It may be recalled that a seven-member legislature panel headed by Bopaiah has given Sampangi a clean chit and had recommended that the bribery scandal be treated as closed in March. Farooq has also appealed to the HC to cancel his bail since he violated the terms by threatening the witnesses.
