Slamming the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) government in Odisha, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda has alleged that the BJD does the work of giving bribes to the people in the state for votes, reported ANI.
Addressing a public meeting titled `Subhadra Yojana` in Odisha`s Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, Nadda said, "This BJD government does the work of giving bribes for votes. An attempt is being made to snatch your right of five years for 54 paise per day. Under the leadership of Modi ji, the BJP has decided to provide cash vouchers worth Rs 50,000 for women in Odisha for the next two years under the Subhadra Yojana. This amount is meant for women, not men so that the woman can decide what to do with this money."
