Bihar Minister Nitin Nabin was on Sunday appointed as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) National Working President, a move seen as signalling a generational shift in the ruling party and positioning him as a likely successor to party chief JP Nadda, news agency PTI reported.
The 45-year-old is the son of late Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, a veteran BJP leader and former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA). Party leaders described him as dynamic, ideologically rooted and deeply committed to the organisation. A five-time MLA from the Bankipur Assembly Constituency in Bihar, he has served twice as a minister in the state government.
