The cracks on the road surrounding the piers make this stretch extremely dangerous for motorists
In order to find a solution to the bloated and uneven surface surrounding the piers of the Monorail between Wadala depot and Bhakti Park station, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) officials, along with senior BMC officers, visited the site last week. It has been decided that the BMC would repair the same.

mid-day was the first report on the issue on April 8 ('Pier pressure destroys road under Mumbai Monorail'). "The area where the problem has occurred comes under the jurisdiction of the BMC as we have already handed over the road to them, and the road was constructed by them only.
