By The Way
Food: Yummy
Service: Attentive
Ambience: Lovely
There's something about the name that makes By The Way a hotbed for college-going youngsters. We figured that it's thanks to the chilled ambience, affordable meals and suitable food for the diet-conscious soul.
The art of staying afloat while eating
The eatery reminded us of Mediterranean hotels where the whitewashed walls, white curtains, rustic floors and candlelit surroundings invite you inside to enjoy the cool sunset breeze. The cane furniture is complimented by colourful cushions and the blue and white marble slabs spread underneath the tables made us feel as if we were afloat on water.
The suspenders and hats worn by the servers also adds to the old-world charm of the place. As does the fact that the doors have thick, jute ropes in place of handles.
The service is attentive and they will custom-make a dish for you if you don't like what's on the menu.
