Driving home after dropping his last passenger, private taxi driver Nagaraj H S (27), thought his day had come to a peaceful end when all of a sudden an oncoming speeding car hit him.

The incident occurred at 1 am, last night, at Chowdaiah Road near RT Nagar. Nagaraj was at the wheel of the Toyota when a Maruti A-Star from the opposite side hit him.

Ganesh, the driver of the A-star, tried to assault our photographer and even tried to snatch his camera away.

"The car came from the opposite side. Luckily, my car didn't suffer much damage.

I am sure, if I was driving a small vehicle, I would have died." Nagaraj was driving back from Kumaraswami Layout where he had dropped his last passenger, and was headed to Hebbal to drop off his car.

The Maruti spun three times before losing control and hitting Nagaraj's car. The driver of the Maruti was later identified as Ganesh.

However, he refused to answer any questions and tried to assault our photographer and tried to snatch his camera.
