Meerut: A class 12 student was allegedly raped by a youth at a medical college here, police said today. In her complaint, the 17-year-old victim alleged that the accused Deepak alias Rahul called her at Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel hospital on Friday where he took her to a room and raped her, they said.

The accused befriended the victim girl when she came to the hospital to admit her injured brother four months back, following which he told her that he works as a guard in the hospital, police said. Hospital authorities told the police that there is nobody named Deepak or Rahul working in the hospital, they said.
