The Indian Premier League (IPL) has got off to a bandaged start with six India regulars (KL Rahul, M Vijay, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav) not part of the glitzy event, at least in the initial period.
