A Congress delegation led by senior leader Rahul Gandhi will be meeting President of India Ram Nath Kovind on October 13 at 11 am to demand the resignation of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni whose son is accused of running over an SUV on farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3.

The Congress had requested the President of India to grant time for the delegation comprising Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with senior party leaders AK Antony, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Adhir Ranjan Choudhury and party general secretary KC Venugopal.
