A major fire broke out in a costume store at Car Street in Ulsoor at 11.30 pm last night. Within no time, the fire engulfed the first floor of the building and soon spread on the second floor as well.

Though no casualty was reported, the store suffered severe loss as everything inside the shop was burnt to ash.
The fire brigade reached the spot immediately and it took six fire tenders and 25 fire fighters about an hour to douse the blaze.
