This year, we have got Rs 8.5 crore for Cubbon Park, Lal Bagh and Nandi Hills. The major problem is lack of security and youngsters." Also, the government has increased funds for the park from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 1 crore this year onwards. Horticulture minister Umesh Katti said, "We should take big decisions to control and maintain the garden if we are to develop it to meet international standards. That's why we've increased the fund."
