India is bracing for extensive pre-monsoon activity from May 20 to 24, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting thunderstorms, strong winds, and heavy rainfall across various states.

Karnataka is likely to bear the brunt of a growing cyclonic circulation over the Arabian Sea. IMD said moderate rainfall is expected in the region. Rainfall has already caused damage and interruptions in some locations, prompting authorities to issue alerts and encourage caution.
