A Delhi court on Monday sent Gaganpreet Kaur (38), the woman accused of driving the BMW involved in a crash that killed a senior Finance Ministry official and left his wife injured, to two-day judicial custody. The accident occurred near Dhaula Kuan in southwest Delhi on Sunday.
Duty Magistrate Akanksha Singh remanded Kaur after she was produced before the court from her residence. Her counsel, senior advocate Vikas Pahwa, said custodial interrogation was not required.
