1. The HDD diet
H D Deve Gowda is a diabetic and always particular about his diet, but during protests, he is extra-cautious.
Raagi mudde (raagi balls), up saar (a sambhar), bus saar, green vegetables and bitter gourd curries are items
he prefers most in his menu. He has them twice a day to keep fit. Raagi rotis are a favourite and he has them with mixed gram sabji. He prefers orange juice during protests.
2. Health tips
Deve Gowda walks on his treadmill for an hour daily before starting his day. At the end of a hectic day, Gowda gets his back and feet massaged for about thirty minutes.
