The Himachal Pradesh government has imposed a two-month ban on adventure activities across the state from July 15 to 15 September, citing weather conditions due to the monsoon season, officials announced on Monday, reported the PTI.
The announcement follows a tragic paragliding accident on Sunday in Kangra district, where a tourist from Gujarat lost his life.
The tourist had taken off from the Indru Nag Paragliding Site near Dharamshala on a tandem flight with pilot who is currently undergoing treatment, according to the PTI.
