On April 27, S S Sandhu, divisional commissioner, Konkan Bhavan, dismissed the relief petition filed by Santosh Kanojia, the washerman, and maintained the deputy collector’s stand, who had earlier issued orders for demolishing the illegal structure. As per commissioner’s order, the district administration demolished the structure on May 3.
