Dharam Chand, a resident of Sultanpuri in north Delhi, died after visiting the Sarojini Nagar police station Aug 25. The physical assault case was lodged by one of his daughters-in-law against his two son. He had gone to the police station with his two sons to try and reach a settlement with the complainant. &quot;Dharam Chand was not an accused in the case but he was called for a compromise in the dispute. He suddenly complained of chest pain,&quot; said the officer. He died in hospital. An enquiry into the matter has been set up to ascertain the exact sequence of events, he said.
