The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced that by-elections for eight assembly constituencies across seven states and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir will be held on November 11 with the counting of the votes scheduled to be held three days later.
The by-elections are being conducted to fill vacancies arising from resignations, deaths, or disqualifications. The by-elections will be held on the following seats:
