Space strategist PK Ghosh stated that the unfortunate failure encountered by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in the launch of its 101st satellite, EOS-09, aboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C61), should be used as a learning process, and not to get demotivated by this failure.

The 63rd PSLV launch of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to place the EOS-9 surveillance satellite in orbit was unsuccessful due to a decrease in pressure during the third of four stages.
