Thanks to the quick response of the fire brigade officials, a fire which broke out at the under construction First International Financial Centre (FIFC) building in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) yesterday morning was brought under control in just a couple of hours.
Six fire tenders, six water tankers and four special appliances vehicles were pressed into action to control the fire which started on the 12th floor of the building around 10.30 am.u00a0
“We thought the fire would quickly spread to other floors as well. Thankfully, the fire brigade officials brought the situation under control in just a little over two hours. Since the building was under construction, no casualties were reported,” an eyewitness said.
