A Naxal supporter involved in violent activities against security forces was arrested by the Gadchiroli Police and CRPF on 30 September 2025 in the Bhamragad area. The suspect had earlier participated in a police-Maoist encounter on 27 August 2025.

Gadchiroli district, a known Maoist-affected region, frequently witnesses acts of sabotage, including attacks on security personnel, arson, and obstruction of government work. Since January 2022, police operations have led to the arrest of 110 Maoists in the district.
