The government Wednesday accepted that the process of probing rape cases in India was not free of loopholes, but said efforts were being made to ensure fair investigation
"All efforts are made to ensure fair investigation in such crimes, although there have been reports (of) anomalies ... and alleged use of influence," Minister of State for Home Affairs Jitendra Singh said in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
