The bodyguard of a BJP candidate and sitting MLA opened fire after some stones were pelted at the leader by some people in Tarsang village, resulting in the injury to four of them.
Four persons were injured on Monday when the bodyguard of BJP MLA and candidate from Sahera in Panchmahal district, Jetha Bharwad, opened fire in Tarsang village after some stones were pelted at the leader.
"When Bharwad reached Tarsang village, some stones were pelted at him following which his commando opened 8-10 rounds of fire, injuring four persons. They all are out of danger now," said Panchmahal Superintendent of Police Sachin Badshah. Tarsang village is around 165 kms from Ahmedabad.
