Homage paid to '71 war martyrs on Vijay Diwas

Vijay Diwas was celebrated at the National War Memorial yesterday morning. As part of the programme, homage was paid to war heroes who laid down their lives in the 1971 war that saw India defeating Pakistan.

It was the second time that Vijay Diwas was celebrated on a large scale. About 150 students, NCC cadets and serving as well as retired high-ranking officers from the Southern Command were present for the programme.
