This is the shrine where one of the biggest world leaders sought truth. Situated on the banks of the river Sabarmati, the Ashram established by Mahatma Gandhi is known as the Gandhi Ashram or more popularly the Sabarmati Ashram. Originally established at Kocharab, the Ashram was moved to the banks of the pristine river in 1917.
