According to sources from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Home Ministry has planned to raise two additional battalions, one each of the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Jammu and Kashmir. The move comes only after one-and-a-half months of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladhak coming into existence.
