The i20 was launched at Advaith Hyundai, Sarjapur Road showroom, the biggest Hyundai showroom in India. The launch was done by the chief guest, Y S Kim, zone manger southern region, HMIL, in the course of an event called 'Diesel Dazzle', where the launch coincided with an electrifying fashion show by Prasad Bidappa, featuring fashion-wear crafted by Abraham and Thakore, Arabella, Arugam Bay, Tamanna and Amanda. The ramp was scorched by renowned models like Roshan Isaac, Archana Kesari, Niharika Nag and others.<br /><br />u00a0The new i20 comes with a 1.4L CRDi engine with a maximum power of <a href="mailto:90PS@4000">90PS@4000</a> RPM and a peak torque of <a href="mailto:22.4kgm@1750~2750">22.4kgm@1750~2750</a> RPM. The engine delivers unmatched power, best-in-class torque, class leading technology and excellent fuel efficiency. With the launch of i20 diesel, Hyundai plans to tap the vast potential that exists in the diesel car segment in India.<br />
