Following the sexual harassment allegations against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the chief of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and BJP MP, the Delhi Police have registered two FIRs based on complaints by six wrestlers and the father of wrestler who is a minor. The wrestlers have detailed instances of alleged sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour in the FIR. However, Singh has reportedly denied all the allegations against him, the PTI reported on Friday.
The FIR against Brij Bhushan Singh was registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act by Delhi Police on the complaint of the wrestlers, as per the PTI.
