Infosys employee arrested for allegedly filming colleague in office washroom

A 30-year-old Infosys employee has been arrested for allegedly filming a female colleague inside the women's washroom at the company's Electronic City campus, Bengaluru, police informed on Wednesday.

In its response to the incident, Infosys issued a statement stating that all the complaints related to violations of its Code of Conduct are treated with the utmost seriousness and that action had been taken against the individual in question.

"We are aware of the incident and have taken necessary action against the employee, who is no longer with the company. We also promptly supported the complainant by facilitating a swift complaint with law enforcement authorities and continue to cooperate with the ongoing investigation," the statement read.
