Private air-carrier Jet Airways and ICICI Lombard General Insurance have launched a unique overseas and domestic travel insurance product 'JetProtect'.

The product offers security against possible risks during travel and can be purchased solely by visiting Jet Airways' website - www.jetairways.com, a release issued here today stated.

The overseas and domestic travel insurance policy covers a host of situations such as medical expenses caused by accidents, possible loss from trip cancellation, loss or delay of checked-in baggage and compassionate visit by a relative in case of illness, among others, the release said.
