Graced by the top-notch performance by Ms Jolie, Changeling, inspired by true-life incident of the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders in the late 1920s, is an example of a creative masterpiece. Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) is a single parent, finds out her son (Walter Collins) is missing one day when she is back from work. A traumatised Christine goes to the Los Angeles police department, which is already in a bad shape due to its incompetence and corruption, to help her search her son. After five months, Captain Jones (Jefferey Donovan), who heads the case, finds a boy and doesn't care if the boy is the actual Walter Collins or not and tries to convince Christine to accept that boy as her son. When she fights back with the help of Reverend Gustav Briegleb (John Malkovich) Jones gets her admitted in the psycho ward. The story starts unfolding on how a woman is traumatised by a corrupt system and how she fights back. Director takes you along with Ms Collins on a journey that is dark and inhumane. Movie takes you on a different level when a psychotic killer comes in the picture and the rage just builds within you. Eastwood has completely believed on Angelina Jolie and she doesn't disappoint you. An award-winning performance, Jolie just keeps you as anguished as Miss Collins is. One of the best movies that has been made in the recent past and it definitely deserves some academy awards! What's hot: Angelina Jolie, of course, even as an anguished single mom.
